Ok, I heard you talking on the phone the other day about going out of town for a little while and heard the name "Bark Avenue", so I thought I'd do some sniffing around to find out some info about this place. So... here's some things I found out through the bone-line....

1.  You're gonna need to pack up my own food and put my name on it please, so someone else doesn't get it.  Oh, and don't take my HUGE bag, only what you think I'll eat while I'm there. Taking my own food is so I don't get an upset tummy while I'm there.

2.  They have some rule about something called canned foods... that it needs to have a lid or a ziplock bag for the fridge and a name on it too.

3.  I don't need alot of toys, just one'll do.. preferably the latex or rubber kind, but not my cloth one's as I'll probably tear them up or put it in my water (just for fun).

4.  What I could use is one of your used t-shirts or socks.  The smell doesn't bother me... I kinda like it :)... it reminds me of you!

5.  They prefer that I leave my bedding at home because I may not always be perfect (but pretty close), so if I have a little accident, I'd rather have it on their bedding than my own because they can wash theirs and give me a fresh one (just like in a hotel).

6.  Remember, I'm on vacation too!  If you want to get me a few UPGRADES, I won't mind a bit!  Hey, you know what they say.... you only go around once!

7.  Without a doubt, you will want me to come home clean & fresh smelling, so how about a bath before I leave?  It's JUST to get me clean & dry, no brushing or nails or anything like that.  Now... I'd LOVE to have a Bath/Tidy or Full Groom, then I'd be PERFECT!

~Bath:  it's just a normal bath to get me clean and dry (Special Boarding price $10.00)

~Bath/Tidy:  this is where I get a bath, dry, anal glands (if I need it), nail grinding, pads shaved, sanitary clip and brushout (priced per individual pet)

~Full Groom:  this is everything in the Bath/Tidy plus a snazzy hairstyling (price per individual pet)

8.  I promise to miss you while I'm on vacation and to be super excited when you come get me.

9.  Lastly, PLEEEEEASE don't make a scene when you leave me.  Keep it brief and upbeat otherwise you'll make me feel guilty for leaving YOU behind!

10.  OOOOOHHHH, I almost forgot the most important rule.  They need to make sure I've had all my yucky shots!  They need a copy of my Parvo/Distemper combo shot, my Rabies vaccination (just my tag won't do, I asked) and then for my protection, a Bordotella vaccination within the last 6 months.  You can either bring the papers with you or you can have doc fax them over but make sure it's in plenty of time before my stay there.
